I’m Herald Gjura — a self-taught value investor.

No finance degree (I studied liberal arts and medieval history, then spent my career in tech); I learned investing by doing. Over the past decade, my portfolio beat the S&P 500 — net of fees and taxes, with less market risk — and a few years ago, at fifty, I reached financial independence.

Seek Value Now is where I write about it: deep dives, frameworks, and tools for finding margin of safety. Head-to-head company comparisons, money-basics explainers for newer investors, and single-name theses when the setup is worth a full piece.
